Well, you can run most windows games using Steam's Proton layer, but you are right. Mac is not the most supported due to Apple's decisions but the games that work on Apple Silicone work pretty well.

I noticed that a lot of people don't know what a zipfile is and how to unpack it.
I find it hard to see how you can know how to use itch without knowing how to unzip files, but you never know.

Maybe your computer is slow? My i7 integrated graphics is fine so...
It should try and to go fullscreen, and fullscreen is often janky. Try out normal RERUN and comeback if that works. :)
